1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Revue ("we," "our," or "us") regarding your use of our service at userevue.com (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. We may modify these Terms at any time, and such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting on this page.

2. Description of Service

Revue is a web-based platform that automates the technical review process for code tutorials and documentation guides. Our Service includes:

  • Documentation and code review capabilities
  • Secure code execution in isolated E2B sandboxes
  • AI-powered analysis and recommendations
  • Integration with Git providers (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)
  • CI/CD integration via webhooks and GitHub Actions
  • Commit-back workflow for automated fixes

3. Account Registration and Eligibility

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3.2 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and update your account information to keep it accurate
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason we deem necessary to protect the Service or other users.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Upload, post, or transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful software
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
  • Use the Service for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service without authorization
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Upload or transmit any content that is offensive, defamatory, or violates others' privacy rights
  • Use the Service to process or store sensitive personal data (e.g., financial information, health records) without appropriate safeguards

5. Code Execution and Sandbox Services

5.1 E2B Sandbox Services

Revue uses E2B (e2b.dev) to provide secure, isolated sandbox environments for code execution. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Code is executed in isolated E2B sandboxes that are automatically deleted after 30 minutes
  • All sandbox data, including executed code, files, and environment state, is permanently deleted after the 30-minute expiration period
  • We do not retain code or files from sandbox executions beyond this period
  • Sandbox executions are logged for security and debugging purposes, but code content is not retained
  • E2B's terms and privacy policy apply to sandbox services

5.2 Code Execution Risks

While we use isolated sandboxes, you are responsible for ensuring that code you submit for review does not contain malicious content or violate any laws or third-party rights. We are not liable for any damages resulting from code execution in sandboxes.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to content you upload, submit, or review through the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and process Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6.2 Our Content

The Service, including its design, features, functionality, and content (excluding Your Content), is owned by Revue or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without our prior written consent.

6.3 Review Results

Review results, recommendations, and AI-generated content are provided for informational purposes only. You retain ownership of any fixes or modifications you make based on our recommendations.

7. Subscription and Payment Terms

7.1 Subscription Plans

Revue offers subscription plans with different features and usage limits. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, as specified in your plan.

7.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for all applicable fees. You are responsible for providing accurate payment information and keeping it up to date.

7.3 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, except as required by law or at our discretion.

7.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices at any time. Price changes will be communicated to you in advance and will apply to your next billing cycle, unless you cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services, including:

  • Git Providers: GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket (subject to their respective terms of service)
  • E2B: Sandbox execution services (subject to E2B's terms and privacy policy)
  • Google Gemini: AI services (subject to Google's terms of service)
  • Stripe: Payment processing (subject to Stripe's terms of service)
  • Resend: Email delivery (subject to Resend's terms of service)

Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

9.1 Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9.2 Review Accuracy

Review results, recommendations, and AI-generated content are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice. We are not responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in review results.

9.3 Tutorial Execution and Predictable Runs

We aim for predictable tutorial runs when you use a matching environment preset and follow our authoring guidelines. We do not guarantee 100% success for tutorial execution. We do not guarantee success for arbitrary third-party tutorials, unsupported environments, or steps that depend on network access, external APIs, or non-deterministic behavior. Improving predictability is an ongoing goal.

9.4 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Revue and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Revue and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, Your Content, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of another party.

11. Termination

11.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at hello@userevue.com or using the account deletion feature in your account settings.

11.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or as required by law.

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We will delete your account and personal information within 30 days of termination, except where we are required to retain it by law. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of [Arbitration Organization], except where prohibited by law.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to you via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13.3 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

13.4 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
